How to Check IPO Allotment Status

Last updated 31 October 2026.

In short

After an IPO closes, the registrar publishes who got shares, usually on the evening of the allotment day. You check on the registrar's website with your PAN, application number or demat details, or in IPO Saathi for every PAN you saved at once.

Check on the registrar's website

  1. Find the allotment date. It is one trading day after the IPO closes. Every IPO page shows it under key dates.
  2. Find the registrar. Each IPO has one registrar. It is on the IPO page and in the offer document. Common ones are KFin Technologies, MUFG Intime (Link Intime), Bigshare Services, Skyline Financial Services, Maashitla Securities, Purva Sharegistry and Cameo Corporate Services.
  3. Open the registrar's IPO allotment page and pick the company or IPO name.
  4. Enter your details. Most registrars take your PAN. Some also accept the application number or the DP ID and client ID.
  5. Read the result. It shows the number of shares allotted, or that none were.

When are results out?

The registrar usually publishes the results in the evening of the allotment date. Before that the page says no result is available. Try again after a few minutes. Shares that were allotted reach your demat account, and money for unallotted bids is released, one trading day later. See the IPO timeline.

What the results mean

  • Allotted. You got shares. The number is shown.
  • Not allotted. You did not get shares. The blocked money is released.
  • No application found. The registrar has no application under that PAN. The common causes are applying with a different PAN, or the results not being published yet. Check the PAN, try again later, and if both are right ask your broker or the registrar.

Check every PAN in one go

If your family applies with several PANs, IPO Saathi lets you save each PAN once with a nickname such as Mummy or Papa and check them all together. Your PAN stays on your phone and is sent only to the registrar when you tap Check. The app can also send an alert when the results are out. For the registrars the app checks directly, see Data sources.
